This is a collection of bits and pieces I decided to gather for later use

I am borne on the wind of a waxing crescent
Through a world of floating leaves,
Look then to a new breeze ever old
If this my story would you hold.

*

Although I am spending my day at a desk,
My heart is a bird in a tree
And my sunshine-mind
Is flying free
In God's glory.

*

O Brother in the Eternal Lover

*

You are a gift from the earth
Choose your sign, your ever wine
A token of your sacrifice
Some high design
And make a gift to the earth

You are a gift from the earth
A cup to drink from
Choose your sign, your ever wine
A token of some high design
And taste the fleeting time

*

Drunk people trying to say French words must be the source of half the English words. Seriously, in the gin-soaked ports all across the harbour and then the city caught fire for the sake of loaves. Check the etymology of February and the history of London.

*

‎"I follow the religion of Love: whatever way Love's camels take, that is my religion and my faith." Mohyuddin Ibn 'Arabi

*

Warm and fair laid,
Repose in the curve
Of my belly's glade,
Fragrant oint of woman's verve.

*

How lovely looks the vesper lake
Between the creeping brake -
Every line in every book
And each mote in hidden nook
Have gathered to salute the day
Upon the gilden plate
Of water's rest.

(nest?)

*

Would like to spend a week in some sylvan glade, undiscovered - except by me obviously - with sweetly singing streams and dreaming dryads who speak in butterfly sonnets. I will nap mostly.

*

“I had rather be shut up in a very modest cottage with my books, my family and a few old friends, dining on simple bacon, and letting the world roll on as it liked, than to occupy the most splendid post, which any human power can give.”

Thomas Jefferson (on the importance of bacon)

*

Be a star.
It's a big sky,
There's room for you to shine.
The night is so wide,
We need everyone to shine.

*

Let us conjubilant gather
Here beneath the trees
And the applause
Of all the leaves.

*

The Church of the everlasting song,
Where all brothers and sisters get along.

*

Somebody said to me today, "I can hear your heart." It made me cry and fall in love. We held hands afterwards. Oh, you're such a good Doctor.

*

*

Art is the necessity of invention.

*

Anche, la musica e il mio cuore.
L'ucelli canti nell' fiori.
Quando mi amore balla
sopra la faccia nella luna
mi fa pazza per dolore.

*

Something about coming out the floor to one day make a door.
